Relocating is stressful. But having
been fortunate enough to relocate to several
wonderful locations of our glorious country,
it's been interesting and wonderful as well.
Having moved from Louisville to Dallas to
Boston to San Francisco to Connecticut and
back to Louisville, each move required finding
a new dentist, doctor, hairdresser and in
my case a hearing aid center. In Connecticut
I found Eileen Davis' HEAR AGAIN CENTER.....my
favorite and the best hearing aid center...best
owner, best team, best equipment, best approach
to providing each client with the best hearing
aid.
In the last few years, as my hearing loss
increased, over this period of time I went
to seven offices and purchased three aids.
Just to name a few of the problems, I encountered
sales pitches for new aids with no prior
conversation for alternatives, adjustments
to my current aids, discovering they were
sold to me with no room for handling additional
hearing loss. I could not talk on a telephone
that did not have a volume control. The
aids whistled for no apparent reason. I
could not understand conversation in a group
or even one on one. Attending plays, lectures,
classes were completely out of the question.
From the beginning, Eileen involved her
competent associates in discussions and analysis of my tests,
including an evaluation of my current aids
as well as adjustments made later to the
new aids. Impressions were taken and the
aids were ordered with specifics outlined
for me personally based on her questions
of me, the results of my tests and a consensus
with her associates.
The day I picked up my aids, we put the
new aids (and me) through our paces. Wearing
the new aids, I was asked to go shopping,
eat in a crowded restaurant, drive a car,
talk on a telephone, watch TV, etc. and
involve myself in as many different kinds
of situations I could.
I now had the best aids for me and felt
like I could again enjoy the lifestyle I
had been missing. I then came home with
these new babies and shared the joy with
my family and friends. It's hard to tell
who's the happiest!
Anyone who wears hearing aids might want
to compare my experience with HEAR AGAIN
to the experiences they have had.
Eileen Davis and her associates are capable
and competent, ethical, extremely thorough
and, in addition, they care, they genuinely
understand and care about the quality of
life for those of us with a hearing loss.
